How to Boil Corn on the Cob?

Ingredients

  • Corn on the cob (5 pieces)
  • Water (2,5 liters)
  • Pressure cooker
  • Salt

How to Cook Corn on the Cob with step-by-step Instructions

1- First of all remove corn husks.

2- Then remove corn silk and remove the excess ends with no corn.

3- Place the corns in a pressure cooker. At this point you can break the corns in half if does not fit in.

4- After placing all the corns, pour enough water to cover all the corns.

5- Close the cover of pressure cooker and put it on the stove.

6- Bring to a boil over medium heat first. Then cook over low heat for about 1,5 hours.

7- When the time is over, remove the pressure cooker from the heat.

8- Wait for about 10 minutes before opening the lid for the pressure to disseapear. You can also put the pressure cooker under running water for relieving the pressure.

9- Now you can open the lid safely and transfer the boiled corns on the cob to a serving plate.

10- Finally you can season with salt and enjoy your boiled corns on the cob.
