- 1 cup of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup of fresh orange juice
- 1 table spoon of orange zest
- 2 packs of baking powder
- 1 pack of vanilla powder or 15 drops of vanilla extract
- As much flour as it takes
How to Make Orange Cake: Step-by-Step Instructions
1- First of all, take the sugar and eggs in a large bowl and mix with a mixer until the sugar melts.
2- After the sugar melts, add the milk, vegetable oil and fresh orange juice and continue to mix for around 1 minute.
3- Then add the orange zest and vanilla extract and continue to mix for another minute. (If you use vanilla powder, you can mix it to the flour and baking powder mixture in step 4)
4- In another bowl, put the 3 cups of flour and 2 packs of baking powder and mix well.
5- Add this solid flour mixture gradually to the liquid mixture and mix with an egg beater. At this point you can add more flour to achieve the thickness of your cake batter.
6- When the cake batter is ready, now you can prepare the cake mold.
7- Grease the cake mold thoroughly so that the cake will not stick to the mold while cooking.
8. Now you can slowly pour the cake batter to the greased mold.
9- Cook the cake for around 30 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees.
10- When the cake is golden brown, take it out from the oven and set aside to cool.
