Roasted Capia Red Pepper Sauce Recipe

Indeed it is very easy to make capia pepper puree. It takes only minutes once you have roasted capia peppers on hand. Here are the ingredients and step-by-step instructions on how to make red pepper sauce from capia peppers.

Capia Red Pepper Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 100 grams of roasted capia red peppers
  • 1/2 bunch of parsley
  • 2 tablespoons of crushed walnut
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper powder
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste

Step-by-Step Instuctions:

1- Wash 5-6 big pieces of big capia peppers and scratch with a knife.

2- Place them over a tray with baking paper and roast for 20 minutes in 190 degrees oven

3- You can also roast by putting the peppers on the fire.

4- After taking the capia peppers from the oven, wait for a while for cooling down a little bit.

5- Cut the head part, remove the seeds and remove the skins. You can also cut into smaller pieces.

6- Add the roasted capia peppers, parsley, walnut, olive oil, salt, red pepper powder, tomato paste and garlic into the food processor and mix until smooth.

7- The red pepper sauce will be fresh for 3-5 days in the refrigerator in a closed food storage box.

8- You can spread the roasted capia red pepper sauce on the bread or you can use it as a pasta sauce.
